Air Miles Credit Cards

Frequent Flyer Airline Miles Credit Card – Southwest Rapid Rewards® Credit Cards

It can be quite tempting to get attracted by the headlines online and in magazines touting free travel especially in current high price environment. Unless you are travel for living the airlines make it more and more difficult to earn and use miles. On top of that most airline mile cards come with an annual fee which adds to your cost. Unless you get credit cards issued by the airline, frequent flyer miles can get expansive considering that yo don’t have free options to have one or two pieces of luggage for free or priority check in etc. One of the air mile cards that offers decent benefits is Southwest Rapid Rewards® issued by Chase bank. This card appears to be a good deal from not so frequent travelers like myself and also from those who don’t mind not getting assigned a seat when boarding the plane. Despite having shortcomings for picky travelers like myself, it can offer cardholders with valuable travel perks and airline bonus points.

Book travel through Southwest: Book your flights, hotel stays, and car rentals through Southwest and Southwest’s partners to earn 2X points per $1 spent.
Take advantage of the introductory bonus: 40,000 bonus points for spending $1,000 in the first 3 months.
Enjoy your anniversary bonus: You’ll receive 7,500 bonus points every year on your cardmember anniversary.
Redeem your rewards: The best redemption values come from redeeming your rewards for flights, so save your points for air travel.

The Rewards
This card can earn the equivalent of about 1% to 4% cash back on purchases with the normal redemption methods, depending on how you earn and redeem the points. And you may find a better value than that if you get a great point redemption.
